《出境事務所》並不是如字面所見，有如旅行社一般的事務所，而是使用「出境」這種說
法，詮釋「死亡」這件事；《出境事務所》顧名思義，是講述一群禮儀師的故事，闡述這
群沒有人想要面對、但又一定要接觸到的生命工作者，他們如何處理在生死邊界的課題，
在人人都不願意、或者說還沒有心理準備要面對（自己或親屬）的死亡時，幫助親屬與離
去的親人，各自得到所需要的協助甚至心靈慰藉。
