小樽巿是日本北海道一座港口都巿，地名源自阿伊努語的「沙岸中的河川」，其中的河川原指星置川的下游。 小樽運河 小樽運河於1914年開鑿，花了9年時間才完工。戰後經濟衰退，長千多米的運河已沒多大作用，1986年建路局將運河縮短並填窄了一半，只剩下「北運河」仍保留原貌。在運河兩則建了散步道，加設60多盞具明治特色的煤氣燈，為運河保留了一點昔日情懷。 鏟雪工人
