之前緯來體育新聞有報導  新北市好像要做一個棒球文物收藏館
但畢竟單一地方政府能力有限，且不是各地收藏都願意配合給新北市
且台灣很多文物
早期業餘棒球世界五強年代，很多都置放在棒協頂樓的倉庫裡面
中職成立之後，則有許多文物中職有存放
