高雄市在凹仔底開闢10公頃森林公園，但到目前為止，仍有5公頃多的都市計畫用途是商
業區；市長陳菊昨天表示，會很快將這5公頃多的商業用地變更為公園用地，即使以後她
不當市長了，市府也將難以賣地。
凹仔底森林公園開闢時，原有的公園用地約有4公頃多，陳菊為了給高雄市民一個都市呼
吸空間，同意工務局將公園用地周邊的商業地帶也併入公園闢建範圍，興建了10公頃森林
